About dance effects
Dance effects animate a still photo of a person, a pet or a character so that it performs a short dance. They work by taking the pose in your photo as a starting point and generating the movement frame by frame, so the subject keeps its face, outfit and background while the body moves.
The photo matters a lot here. A full-body shot with arms and legs visible, taken straight on, gives the model a complete body to move. A cropped portrait forces it to invent legs and hands, which is where most odd results come from. Plain backgrounds stay stable; busy ones tend to wobble.
Dance clips are short by design, usually around five seconds, which matches how they are posted: as a loop under a sound. Download the video and add the audio inside TikTok, Reels or Shorts so the platform can credit the sound properly.
Dance effects: questions
What kind of photo works best for dance effects?
A full-body photo, facing the camera, with hands and feet in frame and a simple background.
Does the video include music?
Videos are generated without licensed music. Add the sound in the app where you post so it is attributed correctly.
Can I make a pet or a drawing dance?
Often yes, as long as the subject has a clear body shape. Results are less predictable than with a photo of a person.
How long is the video?
A standard generation is a five-second vertical clip. Effects that cost more than the standard price say so on the Generate button.
