About anime effects
Anime effects redraw a photo in a hand-drawn animation style, either as a still image or as a short moving clip. The effect keeps the composition of your photo, the pose, the outfit and the setting, and changes how it is drawn.
Portraits and half-body photos with a clear face give the cleanest results. Group photos work, but small faces in the background lose detail. Strong backlight and heavy filters confuse the style transfer, so start from an unedited photo if you can.
We describe styles in general terms, such as soft watercolour backgrounds or bold cel shading, and do not offer effects that claim to be the work of a named studio or artist.

Do I get an image or a video?
It depends on the effect. The page and the Generate button say which one you will get before you pay.
Will it keep my face?
It keeps your features in a stylised form: hair, face shape, glasses and expression carry over.
Can I choose the style?
Effects with more than one look offer a style option in the panel. There are never more than two options to set.
Why do you not name specific studios?
A style is not ours to attribute to someone else. We describe the look instead of using a studio’s or an artist’s name.
