The Zodiac Mirror Portal prompt and model
Zodiac Mirror Portal is made with GPT Image 2.5 by OpenAI. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.
- Model
- GPT Image 2.5
- Mode
- Photo to still image
- Length
- One vertical still image
- Input
- 1 photo
- Identity lock Your photo is the only source for the person's hair, skin tone, build and clothes.
- Composition An over-the-shoulder view from behind, looking into a large mirror in a warm room.
- Portal The mirror drops its reflection and shows a deep sky of stars and nebula.
- Constellation Your chosen sign drawn in fine shining lines and star points, as the only figure in the mirror.
- Rules One adult, no reflection, the room stays realistic, starlight falls on the person, no text.
Using the photo of the person in Image 1, create one photorealistic, vertical cinematic photograph. The person from Image 1 is seen from behind, over the shoulder…
Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself
- Without saying the mirror drops its reflection, models paint the person's own face into the stars.
- Without light from the mirror on the hair and shoulder, the portal looks like a poster taped to the wall.
- Asking for a zodiac sign often adds the written name and the symbol, so text has to be ruled out.
- Fantasy wording spreads to the whole room unless the prompt says only the mirror is magical.

What is the Zodiac Mirror Portal trend?
Updated · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.
The zodiac mirror portal is a single AI still image. A person sits or stands with their back to the camera and looks into a large mirror, but the mirror no longer shows the room. It shows a deep starry sky and a huge constellation of their zodiac sign, drawn in fine shining lines: a ram for Aries, a bull for Taurus, twins for Gemini, a scorpion for Scorpio. Everything outside the mirror stays an ordinary, warmly lit room.
The earliest post we found that uses this exact format and name is a CapCut tutorial on TikTok dated 29 October 2026, which edits a photo with the Seedream 5.0 Pro model and shows the Aries, Taurus, Scorpio and Gemini results. An older series from November 2025 uses the words "zodiac mirror portals" for animated clips of zodiac creatures, with no person in them, so it shares the name but not the format. We have not identified an original creator.
It has only just started to spread. Apart from that one tutorial we found no other posts of this format on TikTok, and the images on this page all come from it, so treat it as a very young trend rather than an established one.
videosi makes the still from your photo. Upload one picture, pick your sign from all 12, and download one vertical image. You keep your own hair and clothes, and if your photo already has a room or mirror in it, the model keeps that room. The clips on this page are the tutorial's still results with a slow zoom added, shown as reference.
Tips for a better result
Show your hair and shoulders
You are seen from behind, so hair, shoulders and clothes are most of what makes the picture recognisably you.
Use a photo at a mirror if you have one
The model keeps the room in your photo, so your own vanity or bedroom can become the scene.
Use even light
Very dark or strongly backlit photos lose the hair and clothing details the model needs.
One person per photo
Group shots make it unclear who should appear. Crop down to one person first.
Good to know before you make a Zodiac Mirror Portal image
- The result is a still image with no sound, not a video.
- You appear from behind, so this is not a straight-on portrait of your face.
- The trend is very new, and the examples here come from a single tutorial's results.
- The constellation is an artistic drawing of your sign, not an astronomically exact star map.
- A failed or blocked generation returns its credits automatically.
Zodiac Mirror Portal: questions
What is the zodiac mirror portal AI trend?
The zodiac mirror portal is an AI still image of a person seen from behind, looking into a mirror that shows a starry sky and the glowing constellation of their sign. The earliest post we found is dated 29 October 2026. videosi makes it from 1 photo of you, with no prompt to write.
How do I make a zodiac mirror portal photo from my own picture?
Upload 1 clear photo of yourself on the videosi zodiac mirror portal page, pick your sign from the 12 on offer and press Generate. It costs 1 credit, needs no written prompt and usually finishes in about a minute. You then download one vertical still image.
Is there a zodiac mirror portal AI generator?
Yes. videosi (videosi.io) is a web generator for the zodiac mirror portal photo: 1 photo in, 1 finished still image out, for any of the 12 signs. It runs in a phone or desktop browser with no app to install, and you do not have to write or copy a prompt.
What is the zodiac mirror portal prompt?
Zodiac mirror portal prompts ask the model to turn the mirror in a photo into a glowing celestial portal with one sign's constellation, while the person and room stay unchanged. videosi keeps its exact prompt private and applies it for you, so your only 2 inputs are your photo and your sign.
Is there a CapCut template or TikTok filter for the zodiac mirror portal?
The tutorial we found, dated 29 October 2026, uses the CapCut photo editor with the Seedream 5.0 Pro model and a pasted prompt, not a one-tap template, and we found no TikTok filter. videosi is independent and not affiliated with either. Its page is a separate web tool that returns 1 image.
Which zodiac signs can I choose?
The videosi zodiac mirror portal page offers all 12 signs: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Each draws its own figure in the mirror, such as a ram for Aries. To make a set for friends, generate once per sign at 1 credit each.
Do I need a photo taken at a mirror?
No. The videosi zodiac mirror portal works from 1 ordinary photo of you. If your picture already shows a room or mirror, the model tries to keep that room; if not, it uses a softly lit dressing room with a vanity. A photo at a mirror simply gets closest to the tutorial results.
What AI model makes the zodiac mirror portal photo?
The videosi zodiac mirror portal page runs on GPT Image 2.5, an image model made by OpenAI, and returns 1 vertical still at about 1K. The tutorial version of the trend uses Seedream 5.0 Pro in CapCut instead. Our full prompt stays private; the structure is explained in the how it is made section.
How much does a zodiac mirror portal photo cost?
One zodiac mirror portal image costs 1 credit on videosi. Credit packs start at $6.99 for 10 credits and do not expire, and plans start at $29.90 a month. There is no free generation on this page. Purchases are final, and a failed generation returns its credits automatically.
Why doesn't the person in my zodiac mirror portal photo look like me?
The zodiac mirror portal shows you from behind, so videosi relies on your hair, build and clothes more than your face. 1 sharp, evenly lit photo showing your head and shoulders gives the best match. Avoid heavy filters and group shots, and expect a back view rather than a straight-on portrait.
Can I make one for a friend or partner?
Yes, with their consent. Upload 1 photo of your friend or partner on the videosi zodiac mirror portal page and pick their sign instead of yours, which suits a birthday post. The page shows one adult per image, so it does not put two people in the same picture.
What does zodiac mirror portal mean?
"Zodiac mirror portal" names the image's idea: a mirror acts as a portal to the night sky, showing your sign's constellation instead of your reflection. The name was used on TikTok by 29 October 2026. It is a visual style, not an astrology reading, and videosi makes it from 1 photo.
What song is used in the zodiac mirror portal trend?
No single song is confirmed for the zodiac mirror portal trend as of November 2026: the one tutorial we found uses a voice-over. The videosi result is 1 still image with no sound, so you choose your own music when you post it.
Is the zodiac mirror portal still trending?
As of 1 November 2026 the zodiac mirror portal is an emerging trend: the earliest post we found in this format is dated 29 October 2026, and it is the only one we have found so far. It has not yet spread widely. videosi offers all 12 signs now if you want to post early.
Is the result a video or an image?
An image. The videosi zodiac mirror portal page produces 1 still picture per generation, not a video, and it has no sound. The moving clips on this page are the tutorial's still results with a slow zoom added, shown for reference. The image suits a post or a phone wallpaper.
