How it is made
The Belly Dance AI Video prompt and model
Belly Dance AI Video is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.
- Model
- Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
- Mode
- Photo + motion reference to video
- Length
- 10 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9
- Input
- 1 photo
- Identity lock Your photo is the only source for the face, hair, build and outfit, held identical in every frame, with nothing shortened or opened.
- Motion reference A 10-second belly dance clip supplies the order and rhythm of the moves, and nothing else: not its 3D look, face or dress.
- Scene Your own place and light, shown head to feet, with one added detail: a gold coin hip scarf over your clothes.
- Timeline Six beats over 10 seconds, from arms up to hip sways, shimmy, snake arms, figure eight and the turn.
- Rules A graceful, family-friendly dance: full figure in frame, no body close-ups, one person, no text or logos.
Photorealistic live-action phone footage, 10 seconds, one continuous static full-body shot at chest height, as if the person in the photo starts to belly dance on the spot.…
Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself
- Without a motion reference, video models make a generic sway or a club dance instead of the arms-up, hip-drop and snake-arm order of a belly dance.
- Ask for a belly dance in plain words and many models swap your clothes for a costume; the identity lock keeps your own outfit.
- Cartoon or 3D reference clips can leak their look into your face unless the prompt says to take motion only.
- Each try costs model credits and minutes, and keeping hands and the turn clean over 10 seconds often takes several tries.

What is the Belly Dance AI Video trend?
Updated · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.
The belly dance filter people are searching for in October 2026 is Belly Dance, a Snapchat lens. Point it at yourself or pick your avatar and it returns a short clip in which a character with your face or your Bitmoji sways its hips and waves its arms to a track labelled Belly Dance by Saeed Artist. The clips are then reposted to TikTok and Instagram Reels, which is why many people look for it on the wrong app.
Clips made with the lens and that sound label appear from May 2026. A tutorial posted on 19 October 2026 calling it the most trending belly dance filter, showing how to search Belly Dance inside Snapchat, is where the current wave was picked up. It is still early: the trend has only just started spreading again, and view counts and the lens creator are not public, so we do not quote them.
The name also covers a second family of clips: AI belly dance videos made with CapCut templates and other AI video apps, where one photo becomes a dancer in a desert, a studio or a palace. Those are templates, not the Snapchat lens.
This page makes the real-person version from one adult photo: you, in your own clothes with a gold coin hip scarf added, doing 10 seconds of hip sways, snake arms and a slow turn. The clip is silent; add the Belly Dance sound or any track when you post.
Belly Dance AI Video: shot by shot
- 0-1.5 s
Arms open
You stand as in your photo, open both arms wide, tilt your head back with a smile and lift your arms overhead.
- 1.5-3.5 s
Hip sways
Hands framing your head, slow side-to-side hip sways and a couple of hip drops, the coin scarf swinging.
- 3.5-5 s
Shoulder shimmy
Hands come down in front of your shoulders for a small, playful shimmy, smiling at the camera.
- 5-7 s
Snake arms
A hand brushes through your hair, then both arms flow out to the sides in soft snake arms while the hips keep moving.
- 7-8.5 s
Figure eight
Arms held out level, a gentle figure-eight of the hips facing the camera.
- 8.5-10 s
The turn
A slow half turn on the spot, coming back round to the lens with one arm raised.
Tips for a better result
Show your hips and legs
The dance is in the hips. A photo from head to at least the knees gives the model your real waist and legs; a selfie crop leaves it to invent them.
Stand, do not sit
The routine starts standing. Seated or lying photos force the model to stand you up, which is where bodies go wrong.
Leave room above your head
Both arms go overhead in the first second. Space above your head and at the sides keeps your hands in frame.
Keep the face clear
No sunglasses or masks, even light, and only you in the picture.
Good to know before you make a Belly Dance AI Video video
- This is not the Snapchat lens and videosi is not affiliated with Snapchat, TikTok or CapCut. It is a separate web tool that makes a real-person version of the clip.
- The page is built for one adult. Photos of children are not accepted, and your own clothes are kept: it adds a coin hip scarf, never a revealing costume.
- Likeness is not guaranteed, and hands can blur during the snake arms and the turn at the end.
- The video is silent. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
Belly Dance AI Video: questions
What is the belly dance filter everyone is using?
The belly dance filter is Belly Dance, a Snapchat lens that turns you or your Bitmoji into a character swaying its hips to a track labelled Belly Dance by Saeed Artist. Clips with it date from May 2026 and a new wave of tutorials started on 19 October 2026. videosi makes a real-person, 10-second version from one photo.
How do I make a belly dance AI video of myself?
On videosi you upload one standing photo, pick 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9 and press Generate, with no prompt to write. You get a 10-second belly dance AI video in your own clothes with a coin hip scarf added: arms up, hip sways, snake arms and a slow turn. It renders in a few minutes and stays in My creations.
Is there a belly dance AI video generator website?
Yes. videosi (videosi.io) is a belly dance AI video generator that works in a phone or desktop browser, with nothing to install. One photo in, a 10-second MP4 with no watermark out. A standard video (Standard model, 720p) is 9 credits, and a failed render returns its credits.
Is the belly dance filter on TikTok, Instagram or Snapchat?
The belly dance filter is a Snapchat lens: open Snapchat, tap search and type Belly Dance to find it, as a 19 October 2026 tutorial shows. The clips are then reposted to TikTok and Instagram Reels, which is why people look for it there. Many TikTok AI belly dance clips are CapCut templates instead. videosi is a separate web tool, not any of these apps.
Why can't I find the belly dance filter?
Most people search the wrong app: the Belly Dance lens lives in Snapchat, not in TikTok or Instagram. Update Snapchat and search Belly Dance in the lens search; lenses can be unavailable in some regions or removed. If it still does not show, videosi makes a 10-second belly dance video from one photo in a browser, no Snapchat account needed.
What AI model and prompt make a belly dance AI video?
The videosi belly dance AI video runs on ByteDance's Seedance (Seedance 2.0 Mini by default, with Fast, Pro and Seedance 2.5 Ultra one click away), using a five-part prompt and a 10-second motion reference clip. A general prompt alone usually swaps your clothes for a costume or invents a different dance, so we lock your outfit and follow the reference.
How much does a belly dance AI video cost?
There is no free generation on videosi. A 10-second belly dance AI video at the standard setting (Standard model, 720p) is 9 credits; credit packs start at $6.99 for 10 credits and never expire, and plans start at $29.90 a month. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
