The Circle AI Dance prompt and model

Circle AI Dance is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.

Model
Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
Mode
Photo + motion reference to video
Length
14 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9
Input
1 photo
  1. Swap The dancer in the reference clip is replaced by the person in your photo, and the rest of the clip stays.
  2. Identity Face, hair, clothes, build and skin tone all come from your photo, hands and arms included, in every frame.
  3. Motion and camera A 14-second clip supplies the choreography, its timing and the camera that keeps circling the dancer.
  4. Scene A bright villa with tall windows over the sea, kept from the reference so the background keeps moving.
  5. Rules One person, five fingers per hand, no cut, no opening shot of the photo, no text, logos or watermark.
How it opens
Replace the dancer in Video 1 with the person from Image 1. Their face, hair, clothes, shoes, age, build and skin tone all come from Image 1.…

Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself

  • Without a reference clip the camera tends to sit still, and then it is an ordinary dance video with no circle.
  • When the prompt only borrows the motion, the reference dancer's hair and clothes can stay in the shot.
  • Side-on moments are where the face drifts, because your photo usually shows you from the front.
  • Each try costs model credits and several minutes, and most people need several tries.

What is the Circle AI Dance trend?

Updated Β· videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.

The circle dance is a TikTok format in which the camera does as much work as the dancer. Someone dances on the spot while the phone travels in a full circle around them, so the room slides past behind them and the dancer has to keep hitting the moves while turning to follow the lens. Some groups flip it, with the dancers moving around a phone in the middle.

The most-viewed version we found was posted on 29 May 2025, captioned as being harder than it looks, and has 10.2 million views. Who started the format is unconfirmed, and that clip is simply the biggest one we could find, not a confirmed original. It uses SHAKE IT TO THE MAX (FLY) [REMIX] by MOLIY, Shenseea, Skillibeng and Silent Addy, but other circle dance clips use other tracks.

The AI side is much smaller. Tutorial accounts were showing a viral circular dance in Kling AI by April 2026, and our radar picked up circle AI dance as a search term on 16 October 2026 and marked it as fading on 21 October. So this trend is past its peak, and there are few real AI examples. Most of what you will find under the name are tool pages, and the clips on this page are mostly real people dancing, which show the format rather than our output.

This page makes the one-dancer version from one photo. The moves, the circling camera and the seaside villa are built in, and the video comes with the original sound of that clip already on it.

Circle AI Dance: shot by shot

  1. 0–2 s

    Close start

Close to the lens, you sway your hips and smile, with the camera already starting to move around you.

  2. 2–4.5 s

    Palms up

Both palms rise beside your head as you step back and the room slides past behind you.

  3. 4.5–5 s

    Arms crossed

Your arms cross high overhead in one sharp hit, just as the windows come into view.

  4. 5–7.5 s

    Point at the lens

Arms cross at the chest and open into both hands pointing at the camera, with the sea behind you.

  5. 7.5–10 s

    Hand behind the head

One hand goes behind your head while your hips keep the beat and the camera keeps travelling.

  6. 10–14 s

    Side-on finish

You turn side-on, sway and flick your hair with one arm out as the circle comes round.

Tips for a better result

  • Show your body, not just your face

The clip frames you from the thighs up. A tight face crop leaves the model to invent your body and clothes.

  • Use a clear front-facing face

The camera travels round you, so a sharp, evenly lit face gives the model the best chance of keeping you recognisable.

  • Leave hats and sunglasses off

Anything covering your face makes the likeness drift, especially in the side-on moments.

  • Be the only person in the photo

The video has one dancer, so another person in the picture can confuse it.

Good to know before you make a Circle AI Dance video

  • This is the one-dancer version. It does not put a group of friends in a ring.
  • The seaside villa is fixed: your photo sets the person, not the place.
  • Few real AI examples of this trend exist, and the clips on this page are mostly real people, so your render will look different from them.
  • The moves are not lip-synced to the song, and likeness is not guaranteed. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
