- Length
- 8 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9

- Change the skater The skater becomes a new adult, so nobody from the reference clip remains.
- Keep the clip The skatepark, fisheye lens, cuts and timing stay as they are in the reference.
- The key beats Standing on the pet, the crouch, the mid-air spin, the landing and the ride away.
- Rules One skater and one animal, no injury or distress, no board under the pet, no text or logos.
Replace the black-and-tan dachshund under the skater's feet in Video 1 with the animal from Image 1. Keep its fur and markings from the image…
Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself
- Without a reference clip the model usually puts the pet on a real skateboard, which is a different video.
- Weak instructions leave the reference dachshund in place and only borrow your pet's colours.
- The animal's body tends to stretch or warp in the mid-air spin, especially fluffy coats.
- Each try costs model credits and several minutes, and most people need several tries.

What is the Pet Skate AI trend?
Updated · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.
Pet Skate AI is the search name for a TikTok format usually tagged skate on dogs. It looks like a normal skate clip shot on a fisheye lens, except that there is no board. The skater stands with both feet on a dog's back, crouches, jumps, and the dog flips in the air under him like a board in a kickflip before he lands back on it and rolls away.
The earliest post we could find is dated 2 April 2026, a dachshund clip captioned to reassure viewers that no animals were hurt. A second clip from the same account, a dachshund ride down a stair set posted on 9 July 2026, is the most-viewed we found, at about 1.6 million views when we checked on 2 November 2026. A pug version from June passed 970,000. Copies with cats, greyhounds and other breeds followed, along with CapCut how-to posts from July to October. We did not find a confirmed originator. The radar behind this page rates the wave as past its peak, though new posts were still appearing in late October.
Nobody films this, and nobody should. Every clip is AI video. Never stand on, or put weight on, a real animal. The joke works because it is plainly impossible.
videosi swaps the dog in the reference clip for the animal in your photo and changes the skater to someone new, so your dog or cat becomes the board. A related idea, a pet riding a skateboard by itself, also circulates under similar names; this page makes the skater-on-pet version shown here.
Pet Skate AI: shot by shot
- 0–2.5 s
Standing on the pet
Low fisheye shot in a sunny skatepark. The skater stands with both feet on the animal's back as it walks forward.
- 2.5–4 s
The crouch
He bends down and reaches toward the animal, the way a skater sets up an ollie.
- 4–6 s
The flip
He jumps with arms out. The animal spins in the air under his feet like a board.
- 6–7 s
The landing
He lands back on the animal's back and it keeps its feet.
- 7–8 s
Riding away
The camera stays behind as the two roll off across the concrete.
Tips for a better result
Show the whole animal
A side-on or three-quarter photo with the back and all four legs in view gives the model the shape it needs for the ride.
Keep the markings visible
Daylight and a sharp photo keep the coat colour and patterns, which is how people will recognise your pet.
One animal only
Use a photo with just your pet and no people or other animals in frame.
Skip the costumes
Sweaters and hats can drift in the mid-air spin. A plain collar is safest.
Good to know before you make a Pet Skate AI video
- This is an AI fantasy. Never stand on or put weight on a real animal, and never try to copy this clip with your pet.
- Your pet is the board, so the skater's feet are on its back. If you want a pet riding a skateboard by itself, this page does not make that version.
- The skater is an invented adult. There is no option to upload yourself as the skater yet, and the skatepark comes from the reference.
- Likeness is not guaranteed: long or fluffy coats and small pets drift most in the spin. Very small or very large pets may change size to fit the rider. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.

Yes. videosi's pet skate video works from 1 photo of a dog, a cat or another four-legged pet, which takes the dachshund's place and moves the same way. Cats already appear in skate on dogs clips on TikTok. A pet with a very different shape, such as a bird, is likely to look less convincing.

Skate on dogs means exactly what it shows: an AI clip, first seen around April 2026, in which a dog replaces the skateboard. New posts were still appearing in late October, though with far smaller audiences. videosi keeps this page open because people still search for how it was made.
Is the skate on dogs video real? Were the dogs hurt?
No. Skate on dogs clips are AI-generated, and no real animal is ridden in the videosi 8-second version or in the AI posts it is modelled on. Never stand on or put weight on a real pet: it can seriously injure them. Label your clip as AI when you post, so nobody tries to copy it.
Can I be the skater in the video?
Not yet. The videosi pet skate video takes 1 photo, of your pet, and the skater is an invented adult who looks different from the person in the reference clip. You cannot pick the skater's face, clothes or the skatepark on this page.
Do I need to say the clip is AI when I post it?
Yes, turn on the AI-generated label on TikTok, Reels or Shorts when you post a videosi pet skate video. Platforms ask for it on realistic AI video, and with a clip that shows someone standing on an animal, it also tells viewers plainly that it is not real. Check each platform's current rules.
