How it is made

The Eyes Blue Like the Atlantic AI prompt and model

Eyes Blue Like the Atlantic AI is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.

Model: Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
Mode: Photo + motion reference to video
Length: 11 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9
Input: 1 photo

Replace instruction The woman in the original clip is replaced by the person in your photo, while framing, flash, blink and timing stay exactly as in the clip.
Identity lock Your photo is the only source for face, face shape, hair and build; nothing of the original woman may stay, and the face is never slimmed toward her.
Colour scheme Atlantic blue (blue wall, royal-blue sequins) or the pink remix (pink wall, magenta sequins), with ice-blue eyes in both.
Timeline Five beats over 11 seconds: eyes closed, white flash, eyes open blue, slow blink, frozen stare.
Rules Only the iris colour changes on the reveal, one adult, matching eyes, no lip-sync, captions, lock-screen clock or app icons.

How it opens

Replace the blonde woman with long wavy hair, the sparkly blue sequin high-neck halter top and the blue earrings in Video 1 with the person from Image 1.…

Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself

Blue-eye photo prompts for ChatGPT or Gemini make a still; asked for video, models zoom slowly and never do the closed-eyes-to-flash-to-reveal beat.
Without a replace instruction the model keeps the original woman's platinum waves and face and only borrows your skin tone.
Changing the eye colour without an identity lock often changes the whole face: the model treats "blue eyes" as a different, more generic person.
Wide-open eyes in a tight frame show every artefact: doubled irises, mismatched colours or eyes that open before the flash.

What is the Eyes Blue Like the Atlantic AI trend?

Updated October 29, 2026 · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.

Eyes blue like the Atlantic is a TikTok meme built on one short studio clip: a woman with long platinum waves and a sparkly blue sequin top stands against a flat blue wall with her eyes closed, a white flash burns the frame out, and she opens her eyes wide, glowing blue, staring straight into the lens. The caption line "eyes blue like the Atlantic" became the name. Searchers who do not know the name look for it as the "blue eyes girl" edit.

The image comes from promotional material for a Channel 4 documentary about the British adult content creator Bonnie Blue, broadcast on 29 July 2025, and was first used as a reaction meme on Reddit that day. The clip that made it a TikTok trend was posted on 19 July 2026 with the "Ocean Vybes" sound and passed 5.9 million views. From September 2026 people started swapping other faces into the shot with CapCut AI templates, setting it as a lock screen that opens its eyes, and dressing up as it for Halloween.

Our trend radar picked up the "blue eyes girl editing" search phrasing on 29 October 2026, so this AI photo editing wave is just starting, while the meme itself has been around since summer.

The videosi version puts your face into that shot: same framing, same flash and the same blue reveal, with your own face, hair and build. You get an 11-second video with the trend sound already on it, in a blue or pink colour scheme.

Eyes Blue Like the Atlantic AI: shot by shot

0–3.3 s
Eyes closed
You stand centred, chest up, against a flat blue wall in a sparkly sequin top, eyes closed and calm.
3.3–4.9 s
White flash
The frame burns out to white, the overexposed flash every version of the meme uses.
4.9–5.5 s
Eyes open
The flash clears and your eyes snap wide open, the irises a glowing ice-blue.
5.5–7.5 s
Slow blink
One slow half-blink, then the eyes open wide again.
7.5–11 s
The stare
A frozen wide-eyed stare straight into the lens, with small sparkles of light, until the clip ends.

Tips for a better result

Face the camera straight on
The clip is a centred, symmetrical shot. A front-facing photo gives the cleanest match; profile shots make the model guess the other half of your face.
Chest-up framing
A photo from the chest up shows your face, hair and shoulders, which is exactly the shot the meme uses.
No sunglasses or glasses
The whole joke is the eyes. Lenses add reflections and hide the eye shape the reveal depends on.
Even light, neutral expression
Soft daylight and a calm face work best, because the clip starts with closed eyes and a still, serious look.

Good to know before you make a Eyes Blue Like the Atlantic AI video

Your eyes always turn blue on the reveal; that is the trend. The rest of your face stays as in your photo.
The outfit is replaced with the sequin top from the meme; your own clothes are not kept.
There is no lip-sync and nobody speaks; the trend sound is added to the video for you.
Likeness is not guaranteed. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
