The Gang Gang AI prompt and model
Gang Gang AI is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.
- Model
- Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
- Mode
- Photo + motion reference to video
- Length
- 11 seconds, 9:16 or 16:9
- Input
- 1 photo
- Who is replaced The battle dancer in the reference clip is named precisely, so the model knows exactly which person to swap out.
- Identity Your photo is the only source for the face, hair, clothes, skin tone, hands and build, held through the spin and the head whip.
- What stays The dark battle stage, glossy blue floor, seated crowd, camera drift, timing and every move of the routine stay as they are.
- Rules Exactly one dancer, an adult with relaxed swagger, feet that land with reflections, five fingers, no lip-sync, no text or watermark.
- Sound The model renders silently and the Gang Gang chorus is laid over the finished video, lined up with the moves.
Replace the dancer in Video 1, the man in the big blond bowl-cut wig and the baggy brown suit, with the person from your photo…
Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself
- Without a motion reference the model invents a generic TikTok dance, and the trend is this exact battle round.
- Tell the model to copy the reference too loosely and the wig, suit or face of the original dancer stays in the video.
- Fast spins and head whips are where faces drift, so the identity has to be locked for every frame.
- Each try costs credits and several minutes, and floating feet or a missing spin ruin the take.

What is the Gang Gang AI trend?
Updated · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.
The Gang Gang dance is a short, loose hip-hop solo on a dance-battle stage. The dancer leans back on the first "gang gang", kicks a knee out, swaggers across the glossy floor, flings an arm wide with a whip of the head, hops into a spin, points at the sky and ends with one hand on the hip and the other at the chin, staring down the crowd. It looks effortless, and that is the joke when an unlikely person does it.
The moves come from a battle round by the French hip-hop dancer Doyah at the Line Up 2026 battle; clips of it were posted on TikTok from 9 July 2026. The music is "Gang Gang Gangland" by Chef Boy and E-40 featuring YG and Mozzy, a West Coast rap track; the trend uses its "gang gang, do you gangbang? I be outside with my gang" chorus.
The AI wave started in late September 2026: an AI copy of the round with a character in a blond bowl wig and a brown suit, posted on 23 September, was followed by AI versions starring grandpas, neon ski suits, green wigs and people putting themselves on stage, with "real or AI?" side-by-sides. Our trend radar saw it budding on 14 October and declining from 27 October 2026, so the peak has passed.
This page makes the solo from one photo of you. You keep your own face, hair and clothes, and the 11-second video comes with the chorus already on it. Note that the full song has explicit verses; the clip uses only the chorus.
Gang Gang AI: shot by shot
- 0–2 s
Gang gang
On the first "gang gang" you lean back loosely, look up at the lights and slide your feet on the glossy floor.
- 2–4 s
Swagger steps
A knee kicks out, the arms drop loose and you swagger across the stage in front of the seated crowd.
- 4–6 s
Arm fling
Shoulders hunch, then one arm is flung wide and the head whips round.
- 6–7.5 s
Hop and spin
A little hop turns into a spin side-on, legs kicking out under you.
- 7.5–9 s
Point up
Back to the crowd with a finger pointed at the sky, then a hand drops onto the hip.
- 9–11 s
Cool finish
Hand on the hip, the other hand at the chin, a slow nod and a stare at the crowd as the chorus ends.
Tips for a better result
Show your whole body
The routine is all legs, hips and arms. A face-only crop leaves the model to invent your body, shoes and hands.
Wear something with character
The best versions have a bold outfit: a loud jacket, a suit, a rugby shirt. Plain dark clothes disappear on the dark stage.
Keep your arms free
Arms by your sides, not crossed or holding a phone or a drink, so the arm fling and the hand on the hip look natural.
Leave the sunglasses off
The finish is a stare at the crowd; covered eyes make the likeness drift during the spin.
Good to know before you make a Gang Gang AI video
- The stage is fixed: a dark battle stage with a glossy floor and a seated crowd. Your own background is not used.
- Your hair and clothes come from your photo; the video does not give you the blond wig or brown suit of the viral AI clip.
- Spins and head whips are where invented detail shows: hands, shoes and hair can shift a little from frame to frame.
- The video has the trend's chorus on it, and likeness is not guaranteed. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
