How it is made
The No Guidance Dance AI prompt and model
No Guidance Dance AI is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.
- Model
- Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
- Mode
- Photo + motion reference to video
- Length
- 10 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9
- Input
- 1 photo
- Identity lock Your photo is the only source for the face, hair, build and outfit, held even while your back is to the camera.
- Dance reference A 10-second clip of a real dancer supplies the moves and the timing, and nothing else: not his face, clothes or the station.
- Place A train carriage aisle or a station platform, with passengers who watch but never dance or block you.
- Timeline Six beats over 10 seconds, from the overhead arm fling to the low bent-knee bounce.
- Rules One dancer, full body in frame, five fingers, planted feet, normal speed, no reflections, no text or logos.
Photorealistic live-action phone footage, 10 seconds, one continuous handheld shot at chest height, the dancer's full body in frame from head to shoes…
Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself
- Without a dance reference the model invents a generic sway, and the hands-behind-head turn and the low bounce that make it read as No Guidance never appear.
- The dancer has their back to the camera for about 4 seconds; without a strong identity lock a different face comes back when they turn round.
- The original was filmed through a train window, so a model copying it too closely adds glass reflections and a drifting camera; the prompt has to take only the moves.
- Passengers in the background start dancing too, or walk through the shot, unless the prompt pins them in place.

What is the No Guidance Dance AI trend?
Updated · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.
The No Guidance dance is a short, laid-back groove that people do for a train. In the clip that started it, a dancer is filmed from inside a carriage while he dances on the platform outside the window: he runs up beside the train, flings an arm overhead, turns away with his hands behind his head, sways, lifts a knee and finishes in a low bouncing stance as the train pulls out.
It was posted on TikTok on 6 October 2026 with the hashtag #noguidance and passed 1 million views. People call it the No Guidance dance after No Guidance, the 2019 song by Chris Brown featuring Drake; the clip itself runs on a sound labelled original sound, and a 2020 remix by Ayzha Nyree is also popular on TikTok, so which version each clip uses is unconfirmed.
Around 18 October 2026 CapCut templates appeared that move the dance inside a train carriage and swap in a face from one uploaded photo, and promo accounts began posting them as the No Guidance dance AI trend or the train dance. It has only just started spreading, so we do not claim any view counts for the AI version.
This page makes the AI version with you as the dancer. Your face, hair and outfit come from one photo, the moves come from a clip of a real dancer, and you pick the train carriage or the station platform.
No Guidance Dance AI: shot by shot
- 0-0.6 s
Arm fling
You arrive with a small hop and fling one arm straight up overhead.
- 0.6-2.5 s
Hands behind head
You turn away from the camera, both hands behind your head, hips swaying into a short lunge.
- 2.5-5 s
The sway
Back still turned, a slow, cool sway of shoulders and hips, weight rolling from foot to foot.
- 5-6 s
Knee up
You turn to face the camera and lift one knee high, one hand on the hip.
- 6-7.5 s
Shuffle
Arms loose at your sides, a small bouncy shuffle toward the lens.
- 7.5-10 s
Low bounce
A low, wide bent-knee stance, one hand at the side of your head, bouncing on every beat, then a step out.
Tips for a better result
Show your whole body
The dance is knees, hips and footwork. A photo with legs and shoes in frame keeps your outfit and stance right through the bounce.
Let your hair show
You spend about 4 seconds with your back to the camera. A clear view of your hair and build helps the model keep you recognisable from behind.
Wear something easy to move in
Trousers, trainers and a top or hoodie read best. Long coats, dresses that cover the knees or bags over the shoulder blur the moves.
Skip hats and sunglasses
The model needs your face shape and eyes. A bright, even photo without sunglasses, masks or caps gives the best likeness.
Good to know before you make a No Guidance Dance AI video
- The video is silent. Add the No Guidance sound, or any sound you like, in the app you post from.
- Passengers and the station are AI-made: now and then a background face blurs or a seat repeats.
- Likeness is not guaranteed, and it drifts most when you turn back to the camera after the sway. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits.
- The dance is a 10-second slice, not a full routine, and videosi is not affiliated with the song, its artists, TikTok or CapCut.
