What AI model and prompt make the Ramalama costume walk video?

videosi makes the Ramalama costume walk AI with ByteDance's Seedance video model (Seedance 2.0 Mini by default; Fast, Pro and Ultra, which is Seedance 2.5, are one click away), using a six-block prompt and a silent reference clip of the real walk. The full prompt is not published; the "How it is made" section on this page shows its structure and a 25-word excerpt.

Is the Halloween AI costume video free, and how much does it cost?

The Ramalama costume walk AI on videosi is not free: there is no free generation and no free trial. A standard 12-second video (Standard model, 720p) is 10 credits; better models and higher resolutions cost more. Credit packs start at $6.99 for 10 credits and never expire; plans start at $29.90 a month. A failed render returns its credits automatically.

What photo should I upload: full body or a selfie?

A full-body or at least waist-up photo, facing the camera, in even light, works best for the Ramalama costume walk AI on videosi: the walk starts on your legs and shoes, and a tight selfie makes the model invent your body. If you own a costume, wear it in the photo and choose "The one in my photo"; the 12-second walk then keeps that outfit from the first step.

Can the AI put a costume on me if I do not own one?

Yes. On videosi the Ramalama costume walk AI has four preset costumes, witch, vampire, haunted doll and dark fairy, that are written into the prompt while your face, hair and build stay from your photo. They are fixed descriptions, so details vary from render to render across the 12 seconds. There is no free-text costume box, and licensed characters are not offered.

Will it keep my face, and why did mine come out wrong?

Likeness is the hardest part of the Ramalama costume walk AI, because the model has to go from shoes on the ground to your face in one second at the tilt-up. On videosi, use a front-facing photo in even light with no mask or sunglasses. Likeness is not guaranteed on a 12-second render, and a failed or blocked render returns its credits.

Can I do the Ramalama walk as a group, or with my dog or cat?

Not on this page. The videosi Ramalama costume walk AI takes one photo of one adult and makes a 12-second solo walk; the group version where friends are revealed one per bar is not offered, and pets need a different reference clip. Photos of other people are allowed only when they are adults who agreed, never celebrities or minors.

Is the Ramalama costume walk still trending?

As of late October 2026 the Ramalama costume walk is still spreading: the filmed walks first appeared on TikTok around 5 October 2026, peaked in the middle of the month, and the one-photo AI versions and CapCut templates arrived between 14 and 22 October. Halloween is 31 October 2026, so a videosi Ramalama costume walk AI render, which takes several minutes, is best posted in the days before.

Can I make the Ramalama walk with ChatGPT, Sora, Veo or Kling instead?

You can try, but a general video model needs a reference clip for the ground-level approach and the tilt-up, an identity lock and a fixed costume description, and each try costs time and credits. videosi has these built into the Ramalama costume walk AI, so one photo gives a 12-second result. Label AI videos as AI when you post them, as TikTok asks.

How it is made

The Halloween Costume AI Video prompt and model

Halloween Costume AI Video is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.

Model: Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
Mode: Photo + motion reference to video
Length: 12 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9
Input: 1 photo

Identity lock Your photo is the only source for the face, hair, skin and build; the costume is either the outfit in the photo or one of four fixed costume descriptions.
Motion reference A silent clip of the real Ramalama walk gives the ground-level approach, the slow steps, the tilt-up and the final stop, and nothing else.
Scene One fixed look: an empty suburban street at night, wet asphalt, one hard light from the camera side, pumpkins far behind.
Timeline Six beats over 12 seconds: shoes, closer, whip tilt-up, full reveal, a hair flick and a quarter turn, the stare at the lens.
Rules One person, no face before the tilt-up, no costume change mid-clip, five fingers, feet planted, no cuts, no text, no blood.

How it opens

Photorealistic live-action phone footage, 12 seconds, one continuous handheld take at night, filmed like a TikTok costume reveal: the camera starts on the ground and tilts up to the person on the beat.…

Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself

Ask a video model for a costume reveal and it shows the face from the first frame, so the whole point of the walk, the shoes-first build-up, is lost.
Without a motion reference the tilt-up never lands on a beat: the camera drifts up slowly or the person just stands there, and the clip cannot be cut to the drop.
Describe a costume and most models restyle the face and hair with it; the identity lock has to spell out that only the clothes change.
Each try costs model credits and several minutes, and a 12-second walk is long enough for the costume to change colour or lose a sleeve halfway.

What is the Halloween Costume AI Video trend?

Updated October 27, 2026 · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.

The Ramalama costume walk is the Halloween costume reveal that took over TikTok in October 2026. The phone lies on the ground, the person walks toward it in slow steps so only the shoes show, and on the drop of "Ramalama (Bang Bang)" by Róisín Murphy the camera whips up to reveal the full costume, usually ending with a stop and a stare into the lens. The earliest filmed versions we found are dated 5 to 7 October 2026; by mid-October single clips had tens of millions of views and the walk was listed among the month's top TikTok trends, often captioned "did I win this trend?".

The AI version started a day after the filmed one: from 6 October 2026 creators posted walks made from one photo, and by 14 to 22 October CapCut templates and AI video sites had one-photo "Halloween walk" effects. Those remakes are what this page is modelled on: a witch in a lantern garden, a vampire in red velvet, a haunted doll on a wet street. The AI version is spreading rather than peaking: the big view counts still belong to the filmed clips.

On videosi you upload one photo and the walk is built around you. A reference clip of the real walk sets the ground-level approach, the tilt-up and the final stop; your face, hair and build come from the photo. Upload a photo in your actual costume to walk in it, or keep a normal photo and pick a witch, vampire, haunted doll or dark fairy costume. The scene is fixed: an empty suburban street at night with one hard light.

The video comes with the "Ramalama (Bang Bang)" sound already on it, lined up so the tilt-up at six seconds lands on the drop. You can swap the sound on TikTok if you like.

Halloween Costume AI Video: shot by shot

0–3 s
Shoes first
The camera lies on the ground; only the shoes and lower legs step toward the lens in slow, confident steps.
3–6 s
Closer
The steps keep coming; the frame reaches the hem of the costume and the hands at the sides, the face still hidden.
6–7 s
Whip tilt-up
On the beat the camera snaps up along the legs and torso to the face.
7–9 s
Full reveal
The last steps toward the camera at full body, hips and shoulders on the beat, eyes on the lens.
9–11 s
Hair flick and turn
A hand through the hair or a head tilt, a quarter turn and back, a small smirk.
11–12 s
The stare
A stop close to the camera, chest up in frame, holding a still look into the lens.

Tips for a better result

Show your full body
The walk is legs first, so a photo with your legs and shoes in it keeps your build and your real shoes right through the reveal.
Costume goes in the photo
If you own a costume, wear it in the photo and keep "The one in my photo": the AI then walks you in exactly that outfit.
Keep your face visible
No masks, heavy face paint or sunglasses in the photo: the model needs your face for the reveal, and a mask in the photo stays on.
Plain background, even light
A photo against a plain wall in daylight reads best; the night street, the hard light and the pumpkins are added by the scene.

Good to know before you make a Halloween Costume AI Video video

The reveal moment is where likeness slips most: the model has to turn a ground-level shot of shoes into your face in one second.
The four preset costumes are fixed descriptions, so the fabric and details vary from render to render; a photo in your real costume is the most faithful option.
The video comes with the trend's original sound, and likeness is not guaranteed. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
One person per video. The group version of the walk, with friends revealed one per bar, is not on this page.
