How it is made
The Birthday Champagne Trend prompt and model
Birthday Champagne Trend is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.
- Model
- Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
- Mode
- Photo + motion reference to video
- Length
- 9 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9
- Input
- 1 photo
- Identity lock Your photo is the only source for the face, hair, build and outfit, held identical through the black-and-white section.
- Motion reference A short clip supplies the walk in, the sit, the timing of the pop and the colour drop, and nothing else.
- Scene and bottle One of three scenes, and a plain bottle with a blank label: no brands, no glasses, nobody drinking.
- Timeline Five beats over 9 seconds, from the entrance to the pop, the black-and-white jet and the return to colour.
- Rules No pop before second 3, spray only from the bottle, one person, no text or logos.
Photorealistic live-action phone footage, 9 seconds, one continuous static shot from about three metres away at seat height, the whole body in frame.…
Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself
- Without a motion reference the cork pops at the start, or the person never sits down, and the build-up that makes the pop land is gone.
- The jet often comes out of the hand or the face instead of the bottle, or turns into smoke instead of foam.
- Asked for the black-and-white flash and the "Hello 30" text, video models tend to grey out the whole clip and print garbled numbers.
- Each try costs model credits and several minutes, and getting all 9 seconds right usually takes several tries.

What is the Birthday Champagne Trend trend?
Updated · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.
The birthday champagne trend is a short birthday flex. Someone walks up to a bench with a bottle, sits down facing the camera and pops it. A tall, thin jet of champagne shoots straight up into the sky, and for about three seconds the whole picture turns black and white, usually with a line of text such as "Happy birthday to me" or "Hello 29". Then colour comes back and the spray rains down.
The clip that started it was posted on TikTok on 1 June 2026: a woman in a park on her birthday, tagged #birthdaytrend and #champagnepop. By late October it showed about 7.9 million views. The sound is "It's Raining Men", the 1982 Weather Girls hit; the original used a remastered version and most remakes use the original recording.
AI versions appeared within two weeks: CapCut templates and Gemini or ChatGPT image prompts let people do it from a photo, at night, with gold balloons, a birthday cake or famous views behind them. In Spanish it is often called the trend de la botella. In October a night variant appeared in which the bottle is popped from a car window.
This page does the whole recipe for you. The motion, the pop and the prompt are built in; you choose the photo, the scene and the format. Nothing is sprayed for real, and the clip is meant for adults.
Birthday Champagne Trend: shot by shot
- 0–1.5 s
The entrance
You walk toward the bench, half turned away, one fist in the air and the bottle in the other hand.
- 1.5–3 s
The sit
You turn, sit down facing the camera, cross your legs and stand the bottle up beside you.
- 3–4 s
The pop
One hand goes up, the cork flies and a thin white jet of champagne shoots metres into the sky.
- 4–7 s
Black and white
The picture drops to black and white while the jet keeps rising and you lean back laughing. This is where people add their age.
- 7–9 s
Back to colour
Colour returns, the spray falls in drops and you sit back smiling at the camera.
Tips for a better result
Show your whole outfit
The camera stands back and shows you head to toe. A full-length or knees-up photo gives the model your real legs, shoes and dress; a face crop makes it invent them.
Dress like it is your birthday
Most remakes use a little black dress, a satin dress or a white blazer. Solid colours stay clear in the black-and-white part.
Keep the face clear
No sunglasses, masks or hats. A sharp, front-facing face is what keeps the likeness when you tilt your head back laughing.
Match the light to the scene
Pick the sunny park for a daylight photo and one of the night scenes for an evening photo; the face blends in better when the light agrees.
Good to know before you make a Birthday Champagne Trend video
- The video comes with "It's Raining Men" already on it, but has no text. Add your "Hello 30" line when you post.
- The champagne, the bottle and the scene are generated, and the bottle has no brand label. There is no car scene on this page.
- Likeness is not guaranteed, and it drifts most when your head tilts back during the black-and-white part. Hands on the bottle can show AI glitches.
- The clip shows alcohol and is for adults only. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
