How it is made
The Ballon d'Or AI Filter prompt and model
Ballon d'Or AI Filter is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.
- Model
- Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
- Mode
- Photo + motion reference to video
- Length
- 10 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9
- Input
- 1 photo
- Subject swap The winner in the muted reference clip is replaced with the person in your photo, while the shots, timing and camera moves stay as they are.
- Identity lock Your face, face shape, hair, skin tone and build come only from your photo and are held from the crowd shot to the close-up, in a black tuxedo.
- Scene A packed theatre, plain wooden stage steps, a dark grey backdrop and a generic gold football trophy on a stone base, with no award branding.
- Timeline Seven beats over 10 seconds: crowd, hug, aisle walk, steps, hand-over, kiss, confetti close-up.
- Rules One winner, five fingers, no logos, no engraving, no captions or watermark, no lip-sync, and no face drifting towards the reference person.
Replace the man with the long blond bob wig, pale stretched caricature face and thin moustache in Video 1 with the person from Image 1…
Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself
- Without a motion reference the model invents its own ceremony, so the hug, the aisle walk and the kiss on the trophy, the beats that sell the prank, rarely come out in order.
- Video models copy award logos, lettering and real-looking trophy engravings from their training data unless the prompt bans them, which turns a joke into a trademark problem.
- When the reference person fills the frame, the face in the close-up drifts towards them or gets slimmed unless the identity lock names exactly what not to keep.
- A 10-second render costs model credits and several minutes per try, and burned-in captions from template clips tend to reappear unless the prompt removes them.

What is the Ballon d'Or AI Filter trend?
Updated · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.
The Ballon d'Or AI filter is a prank video trend: a 10-second AI clip shows you sitting in the front rows of a packed theatre in a tuxedo, hugging the person next to you, walking down the aisle, climbing onto the stage, shaking the presenter's hand and receiving a golden football trophy, which you kiss before a close-up in front of falling gold confetti. The caption is almost always a version of "Making my parents think I won the Ballon d'Or" or "Pranked my mum that I won the Ballon d'Or", and the joke is to send it to family as if it were real.
The wave started on TikTok around 22 October 2026, when CapCut template accounts began posting the clip with "Try it here" links; within a week there were versions in English and French, how-to videos in Spanish and English, and remakes starring bald uncles, caricatures, a pig in swimming goggles and a dog in a suit. Most posts reuse the same short original sound. On 28 October 2026 it was spreading fast.
The real Ballon d'Or is an annual football award organised by France Football. This page is unofficial and fan-made: it has no connection with the Ballon d'Or, France Football or any player, and it uses no official logo, ceremony footage or real trophy design. The AI version shows a generic golden football trophy on a stone base.
On videosi the whole 10-second award walk is generated in the browser from one photo, with the motion, the prompt and the trend sound built in, so you appear in a tuxedo with your own face and hair.

- 0–1 s
In the crowd
You sit in the front rows of a packed red-velvet theatre in a tuxedo while the audience applauds around you.

Your name is called: you turn and hug the person in the next seat before standing up.
- 2.5–4 s
Down the aisle
You walk down the aisle towards the camera between rows of guests in evening wear.
- 4–5 s
Up the steps
Seen from behind, you climb the wooden steps onto the stage.
- 5–7 s
The hand-over
Against a dark grey backdrop a presenter shakes your hand and passes you the golden football trophy.
- 7–8 s
The kiss
You lift the trophy and kiss it, eyes closed.
- 8–10 s
Gold confetti
Close-up: you hold the trophy at your chest and smile while gold confetti and sparks fall behind you.
Tips for a better result
Use a sharp, front-facing face
The last three seconds are a close-up of your face with the trophy, so a sharp photo looking at the camera holds the likeness best.
Even light, no filters
Beauty filters and heavy shadows make the face drift between the dark theatre shots and the bright confetti close-up.
Leave sunglasses and caps off
Anything covering the eyes or hairline gets guessed by the model during the hug and the kiss, when your head turns.
Your hair stays yours
The clip keeps the hairstyle from your photo, so a photo with your usual hair makes the prank more believable to your parents.
Good to know before you make a Ballon d'Or AI Filter video
- This is an unofficial, fan-made video effect. It has no connection with the Ballon d'Or, France Football or any player, and shows no official logo, ceremony footage or real trophy.
- The video comes with the trend's original sound already on it; the caption is yours to add.
- The face is hardest to hold in the hug and the aisle walk; a clear, front-facing photo helps most, and likeness is not guaranteed.
- Hands and the trophy can occasionally glitch during the hand-over. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
