How it is made

The Bubble Bath Foam Overflow prompt and model

Bubble Bath Foam Overflow is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.

Model: Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
Mode: Photo + motion reference to video
Length: 15 seconds, 9:16 or 16:9
Input: 1 photo

Identity lock Your photo is the only source for the face, hair, build and outfit, and you stay fully dressed beside the tub in every frame.
Motion reference A short clip supplies the pour, the step back, the foam rolling toward the lens and the cut outside, and nothing else.
Scene The bathroom you pick, a plain unbranded bottle, and thick white foam with small bubbles catching the light.
Timeline Six beats over 15 seconds, from a small mound of foam to chest deep to the foam bursting out of the window.
Rules Foam only grows and never shrinks back, one person, no text, no logos, and the outfit never changes.

How it opens

Photorealistic live-action cinematic footage, 15 seconds, handheld camera at the height of the tub rim, soft practical light. Image 1 is the only source for the person…

Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself

Without a motion reference the foam often grows at one slow, even pace and the clip never reaches the moment it swallows the room.
Video models tend to shrink the foam back or let it pass through the person like smoke, which kills the joke.
The cut to the outside of the building is the payoff, and a plain prompt usually forgets it or shows a different house.
Each try costs credits and several minutes, and getting the foam timing right by hand usually takes several attempts.

What is the Bubble Bath Foam Overflow trend?

Updated October 27, 2026 · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.

The bubble bath foam overflow is a short AI video built on one bad decision. Someone leans over a big bathtub and pours in a bottle of bubble bath. A neat mound of foam appears, then keeps growing: over the rim, onto the floor, up to their chest, and finally over their head until the screen is white. The last shot cuts outside, where the window of the building bursts open and a column of foam pushes out into the street.

Nobody fills a house with foam for it. The clip is generated by an AI video model from one photo of the person, with the foam, the room and the camera work described in a prompt. The version with the tub, the candles and the foam bursting out of a gothic window was posted by an AI video app's own TikTok account on 26 October 2026 under the line "Your bubble bath got way out of hand". Similar "too much bubble bath" AI clips, with people in bathrobes or a pug tipping soap into a waterfall, had been appearing since September 2026.

As of 27 October 2026 it has only just started spreading, so there is no settled hashtag and no single trending sound yet.

This page does the whole recipe for you. The foam timing, the cut to the outside of the house and the prompt are built in; you upload a photo of yourself, pick the bathroom, and stay fully dressed the whole time.

Bubble Bath Foam Overflow: shot by shot

0–1.5 s
The pour
You lean over the rim of the tub and tip the last of the bubble bath into the warm water, pleased with yourself.
1.5–4 s
A little foam
A small white mound forms on the water and starts to swell. It still looks like a normal bath.
4–7 s
Over the rim
The foam heaps up past the edge. You push at it with both hands and it spills down the side of the tub onto the floor.
7–10 s
Chest deep
The foam surges to your chest. You straighten up and lean back, eyes wide, mouth open.
10–11.5 s
Swallowed
The foam rolls over you and toward the lens until the whole frame is white.
11.5–15 s
Out the window
Cut to the outside wall. The window bursts open and a giant column of foam pushes out and keeps growing until it fills the shot.

Tips for a better result

Wear something with sleeves
A dress, a hoodie, a robe or pyjamas all read well against white foam. The foam rises to your chest before it swallows you, so your top is on screen the whole time.
Show your upper body
The clip is framed from the waist up while you lean over the tub. A tight face crop leaves the model to invent your shoulders, arms and hands.
Avoid white on white
A white top disappears into the foam. Colours or darker tones keep you visible until the last second.
Leave hats and sunglasses off
Anything that covers your face makes the likeness drift when you look up at the foam in surprise.

Good to know before you make a Bubble Bath Foam Overflow video

The video comes with a sound already on it, and likeness is not guaranteed. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
You stay fully dressed and beside the tub; this page does not make bathing or swimwear scenes.
The foam is generated, so its exact shape and speed change from one render to the next.
The outside shot shows a generic building in the style of the bathroom you pick, not your own house.
