Why doesn't my Swim dance AI video look like me?

The usual causes of a weak 15-second BTS Swim dance AI result on videosi are a face-only crop, sunglasses, a cap pulled low or a dark photo. The lunges and hair whips are where likeness slips, so use a front-facing full-body photo in even light. Likeness is not guaranteed, and a failed or blocked render returns its credits.

What song is used in the BTS Swim dance?

The song is SWIM by BTS, the title track of their fifth studio album ARIRANG, released on 20 March 2026; it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. videosi's BTS Swim dance AI makes a 15-second silent dance clip of you, and you add the song yourself on TikTok or Reels, where the platform's licence covers the music.

What does the Swim dance mean?

The Swim dance is named after the crawl-stroke swimming arms in the chorus of SWIM, a March 2026 BTS song widely read as a song about resilience. Fans repeat the swimming arms, lunges and hair whips in short covers. videosi's BTS Swim dance AI turns that into a 15-second clip of you, made from one photo.

Is the BTS Swim dance still trending?

As of October 2026 the AI version of the BTS Swim dance is just starting: the burst radar first flagged BTS Swim dance AI on 26 October 2026, seven months after the song came out on 20 March 2026 and a month after its VMA Song of the Year win. Human covers have been posted since March. videosi's 15-second clip works any time.

Can I use someone else's photo, a pet or make it for my kids?

Only an adult who has agreed to it. videosi does not accept photos of celebrities, public figures or minors for BTS Swim dance AI, and users must be 18 or older. The cats in the examples are AI pet videos; for your own pet use the AI Cat Dance page. Photos and results are deleted within 30 days.

Can I make the Swim dance video with ChatGPT, Sora, Veo or Kling?

You can try, but a general video model needs a dance reference clip, an identity lock and rules against idol faces and stage suits to get the Swim moves right, and each try costs time and credits. videosi has these built into BTS Swim dance AI, so one photo gives a 15-second result. Label AI videos as AI when you post them.

How it is made

The BTS Swim Dance AI prompt and model

BTS Swim Dance AI is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.

Model: Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
Mode: Photo + motion reference to video
Length: 15 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9
Input: 1 photo

Identity lock Your photo is the only source for the face, hair, build and outfit, and the face is never pushed toward any idol.
Motion reference A 15-second clip of an ordinary fan dancing the Swim cover supplies the moves and the timing, and nothing else.
Scene One place, a dark dance studio, a city river at night or a sunny beach, with you alone in frame.
Timeline Six beats over 15 seconds, from the bouncing groove to the swimming arms, the lunges and the closing half turn.
Rules One dancer, five fingers, feet planted, full body in frame, no stage suits, no sunglasses, no cuts, no text.

How it opens

Photorealistic live-action phone footage, 15 seconds, one continuous take, camera fixed on a tripod at waist height, the dancer's full body in frame.…

Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself

Ask a video model for the BTS Swim dance by name and it tends to invent a stage, seven people in matching suits or idol-style faces, because the name is tied to the group.
Without a motion reference the swimming arms, which are what make the dance read as Swim, turn into generic hip-hop arm waves.
The deep lunges and hair whips are where most models lose your face; without an identity lock you come out of the turn as someone else.
Say swim in a prompt and models love to add a pool, water or a swimsuit; the prompt has to keep you dry and in your own clothes.

What is the BTS Swim Dance AI trend?

Updated October 26, 2026 · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.

SWIM is the title track of ARIRANG, the fifth studio album by BTS, released on 20 March 2026. The song debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and won Song of the Year at the 2026 MTV VMAs on 27 September 2026. Fans call the dance that goes with it the Swim dance, after the crawl-stroke arm moves in the chorus.

Dance covers started the week the song came out: on TikTok, ordinary dancers filmed short Swim covers in studios and bedrooms, and AI accounts posted dancing cats and dogs to the song from 21 March 2026. In late October 2026 a new wave of AI Swim dance edits appeared, and the burst radar picked up the phrase BTS Swim dance AI on 26 October 2026, so the AI version has only just started spreading. We do not claim view counts or name a choreographer.

This page makes the version where you do the dance. From one photo, your face, hair and outfit are kept, and you dance 15 seconds of a fan Swim cover in a dark studio, by a city river at night or on a beach. The moves come from an ordinary fan dancer, not from BTS or the official video, and you are never turned into a member: no idol face, no stage suit.

The video is silent, so add the song on TikTok or Reels, where music is used under the platform's own licence. videosi is independent and not affiliated with BTS, BIGHIT MUSIC or HYBE.

BTS Swim Dance AI: shot by shot

0-2 s

Wide stance, knees bouncing on the beat, hands loose at the chest and small shoulder rolls.
2-4 s

Both arms fling out wide, the head and hair whip to one side, then the hands snap back in.
4-6.5 s
The swim
Alternating crawl-stroke arms sweep across the body while you step into a sideways lunge.
6.5-9 s
Hands behind head
Hands go behind the head with a hip sway, then drop to the hips as you turn side-on.
9-12.5 s
Deep lunge
A low side lunge, one arm reaching across, a hand pressed to the chest and a quick rise.
12.5-15 s
Half turn
You turn your back to the camera with a big hair whip and one arm flung up to finish.

Tips for a better result

Show your whole body
The dance is lunges, kicks and a turn. A photo with legs and shoes in frame keeps your outfit and stance right through every move.
Keep your face clear
Skip sunglasses, masks and caps pulled low: the model needs your face shape and hair to keep you recognisable through the hair whips.
Wear loose clothes
Wide trousers or a cropped jacket swing nicely on the lunges and the turn. Very tight all-black outfits can blur the swimming arms.
Use your own photo
Upload a photo of yourself or an adult who agreed to it. Photos of BTS members or other celebrities are not accepted.

Good to know before you make a BTS Swim Dance AI video

You dance as yourself in your own outfit: the AI does not give you a BTS member's face, hair or stage look.
The deep lunges and hair whips are the hardest part; now and then a hand or the hair blurs for a few frames.
The video is silent, and likeness is not guaranteed. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
videosi is not affiliated with BTS, BIGHIT MUSIC or HYBE, and the moves come from a fan cover, not from the official video.
