How it is made
The AI Cricket Video prompt and model
AI Cricket Video is made with Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier) by ByteDance. The prompt behind it has 5 parts, and the timing is what makes or breaks it.
- Model
- Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 (you pick the tier)
- Mode
- Photo + motion reference to video
- Length
- 11 seconds, 9:16, 1:1 or 16:9
- Input
- 1 photo
- Identity lock Your photo is the only source for the face, hair and build, held identical in the side view and when you turn to the camera.
- Motion reference An 11-second clip from the trend supplies the stance, the swing, the leg kick and the bat pose, and nothing else: not its face or clothes.
- Scene and outfit A dusty village ground with stumps behind you and nobody else in frame, plus the outfit you pick: white kurta, red kurta or your own clothes.
- Timeline Five beats over 11 seconds, from taking guard to the lofted shot to the bat-raise pose and the turn away.
- Rules One continuous shot, a single unbroken plain bat with no logos, both hands on the handle, no stickers or text on screen.
Photorealistic live-action smartphone footage of a casual village cricket game, 11 seconds, soft hazy late-afternoon light, natural colours. Image 1 is the only source for the person…
Why it goes wrong when you do it yourself
- Without a motion reference the model swings like a baseball player or a golfer instead of playing a cricket shot.
- Bats bend, split in two or turn into a stick mid-swing unless the prompt pins one straight, unbroken bat.
- Tutorial prompts for Gemini or ChatGPT only give one still image; the swing and leg kick need a video model.
- Each try costs model credits and a few minutes, and fast swings often need a couple of tries before the hands look right.

What is the AI Cricket Video trend?
Updated · videosi is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or with the owners of any trend, song, game or brand named on its pages.
The AI cricket video trend, also called the girl cricket shot AI video or the Boom Shaka Laka cricket trend, is a short, realistic clip of a young woman in a white kurta on a dusty village cricket ground. She takes guard beside the stumps, swings a huge lofted shot with her front leg kicked high and her hair and dupatta flying, then holds the bat up in a proud pose and turns away.
The clip that started this wave was posted on TikTok on 21 October 2026 with the caption joking that everyone would now say it is AI. It passed 16 million views within days. On 22 October 2026 CapCut template accounts began posting the same scene with other faces and outfits, and from 24 October 2026 YouTube tutorials in Hindi and English were teaching the "girl cricket shot AI video editing" and "AI cricket shots reels" look, mostly for Instagram Reels in India and Pakistan.
The soundtrack in the original and most remakes is "Boom Shaka" by the Indian rapper KR$NA with Dhanda Nyoliwala, which is why many tutorials call it the Boom Shaka Laka cricket trend.
Nothing is filmed: the remakes are generated by an AI video model from one photo of the person. This page does the same from your photo, with a white kurta, a red kurta or your own outfit. The trend has only just started spreading.
AI Cricket Video: shot by shot
- 0–3 s
Taking guard
Side-on medium-wide shot on a sandy village pitch. You stand beside the stumps, bend into your stance and tap the bat.
- 3–5 s
Backlift
You settle lower and lift the bat behind your shoulder, waiting for the ball.
- 5–6 s
The big shot
A full lofted swing over the shoulder. Your front leg kicks up, hair and fabric fly. This is the frame everyone screenshots.
- 6–7.5 s
Follow-through
The bat finishes high above your head and you balance on one leg for a beat, watching the ball go.
- 7.5–11 s
Bat-raise pose
The camera comes round to the front. You hold the bat upright with both hands, lower it with a small smile and turn away.
Tips for a better result
Use a full-body photo
The clip is a medium-wide shot of you batting. A photo that shows your whole figure gives the model your real height and build.
Face the camera, no sunglasses
You turn to the camera at the end for the smile. A clear, front-facing face keeps that close moment looking like you.
Daylight matches the scene
The ground is a hazy outdoor afternoon. An outdoor or window-lit photo blends in better than a flash or neon-lit selfie.
Pick your own outfit for a personal look
Choose Your own outfit to bat in the jeans, jersey or saree from your photo; the kurta options replace your clothes.
Good to know before you make a AI Cricket Video video
- This is an original scene on a generic village ground. It uses no match footage, team kit, logos or real players.
- Your face is small in the side-on batting shot, so likeness is strongest when you turn to the camera at the end.
- Fast swings are hard for video models: now and then the bat or hands blur. A failed, timed-out or blocked render returns its credits automatically.
- Likeness is not guaranteed.
